Chapter 290: Accidentally Learning Penetration Power

Xiong Ju’s wrestling style sufficiently displayed his formidable physical strength. His attack frequence was low, but every strike was heavy and powerful. Because his body weighed a lot, he tended to fight in place and didn’t move much.

Apart from that, Xiong Ju also had some vicious dirty tricks he could use by surprise, often to wonderful effect.

He had some similarities and also some differences with the dragonman youngster.

The first similarity was their physique.

It can be envisioned that as the dragonman youngster absorbs dragon race bloodlines and constantly improves the Flame Dragon King bloodline’s concentration, his body would get taller, larger, and more robust. He would become as tall as Xiong Ju, then grow to be even larger than the latter.

The second similarity was that both were strength type users.

The most obvious difference was this: the dragonman youngster trended towards constant movement while fighting and rapid breaking of an opponent’s defense. Through running and dashing, he increased his firepower or attack frequency.

The dragonman youngster didn’t plan on changing his fighting style. Therefore, in this part of the battle experience, after absorbing the useful parts, he abandoned the rest that went contrary to himself.

He would say Xiong Ju’s fighting style was too cumbersome. Giving up his superiority in movement was very stupid.

The battle skill Total Annihilation and Mountain Splitter matched Xiong Ju’s Gold Flower Hacksaw.

The battle skill Wreathed in Silver and Power Punch worked together, allowing Xiong Ju to fight the dragonman youngster on even footing.

The two battle skills combined had a pretty good combat result.

Apart from those two battle skills, Xiong Ju used the racial magic Bear Roar a number of times.

This experience was also very helpful to the dragonman youngster. After all, Bear Roar was very similar to Dragon Roar.

The third portion of experience concerned equipment usage.

The main part was how Xiong Ju used the Gold Flower Hacksaw. 

With this experience, the dragonman youngster had gone from a novice at using two handed hacksaw weapons to an experienced user.

But if he wanted to reach Xiong Ju’s level of expertise, one heroic duel’s worth of experience was insufficient.

Xiong Ju was very experienced with the Gold Flower Hacksaw.

Besides normal attacks, he also used the hacksaw’s flat edge as a shield.

He could throw the hacksaw to help adjust his center of gravity.

When Xiong Ju wielded the Gold Flower Hacksaw, he did so with his own fighting style. His attack frequency greatly decreased, but each strike’s power rose dramatically and were very threatening. Against a normal enemy, as long as Xiong Ju hit them with the Gold Flower Hacksaw, if they didn’t die outright, they would be seriously injured. Either way the aftermath was grim.

In other words, the dragonman youngster’s gold level defense diminished the charm of Xiong Ju’s main weapon.

Apart from the Gold Flower Hacksaw experience, the rest of the experience pertained to how to use the Flowing Wave Armor and the Small Thunder God Flying Hammer.

These experiences were of low practical worth to the dragonman youngster.

Because both the Flowing Wave Armor and the Small Thunder God Flying Hammer were equipment of unique design and weren’t often seen on the marketplace.

Furthermore, because Xiong Ju had borrowed this equipment, he was very inexperienced with them.

In real combat, the dragonman youngster had even exploited the Small Thunder God Flying Hammer to his advantage to launch his counterattack against Xiong Ju.

Xiong Ju had a lower level of control of these two pieces of equipment.

The dragonman youngster walked over to it, then mulled for a good while.

He mobilized his battle qi and used Demolition Fist.

He punched the humanoid puppet’s chest.

After an explosion rang out, the humanoid puppet’s chest had a small hole in it.

The dragonman youngster immediately walked behind the humanoid puppet.

The humanoid puppet had a hole in its back, one far larger than the one in its chest.

The dragonman youngster’s Demolition Fist had penetrated into the humanoid puppet, carrying the explosion with it, leading to the resulting impact.

A rich smile emerged on the dragonman youngster’s face.

This was the offensive effect of penetration power!

“The medicine Xiong Ju took gave each of his attacks penetration power.” 

“Through the battle experience I absorbed from him, I have learned penetration power.”

When Xiong Ju and the dragonman youngster were taking medicine throughout the battle, the former had taken all three of Teng Dong Lang’s pills one after the other,

This gave the dragonman youngster much more battle experience.

This resulted in the dragonman youngster understanding the secrets of penetration power.
